COLONY OF LOVE[5] BY RITA GEORGE

Colony of Love (1)

Our love is like a cord.
Like Rahab Red cord tied
round her window.

It's a colony.
A colony we carve
In our Hearts,
As the blueprint
For our existence.

The Colony of Love (2)

Humour and Honour
I'll do anything to have both
Thats why I'll do anything to have you
Because I find both
Twinkling in a new light in our
Colony.

Love is our stream
As a Bridled horse
Is led to the river
I cannot resist
Drinking from your stream
For out of your belly
Flows (Love) unending

By the springs
In August
We meet
Love is our place
It's our colony
It's where our eyes open
To beauty.
