ECLIPSE OF A VIRGIN
CHAPTER EIGHT

Mrs. Macus left the house to find for amaka. But on her way, her car got breaked down. She tried to fixed it but, couldn't get the actual problem. The cloud was already fading away. After some minutes, she got down from the car to do some little works if it could work. Suddenly a trailer lost its break, coming towards the direction where Mrs. Macus was. Suddenly,the trailer crushed her immediately, Amaka woke up from her bed in Ghana, breathing heavily. She looked left and right reminiscing about Nigeria's life. Her eyes got dimmed that she couldn't locate the sitting room. Untill Damsel came in.
"Amaka, whats wrong?". Damsel asked.
"Nothing, just that....". Amaka paused for a minute while Damsel added immediately.
"I don't understand you anymore. Look the way your eyes are so red. Or are you pregnant?" Damsel asked suspiciously.
"Oh! What's this now?. I don't know your problem. Just let me be". Amaka declared as she fell flat on bed.
"Ok. Am going then,since you failed to tell me exactly the problem". Damsel added as she turned to leave the room.
Damsel kept mute as she was so optimistic to know the reason behind Amaka's mood. But, on the other side she knew amaka was up to something. So, she as to be calm in all her actions. Back in Nigeria; Mrs. Macus was announced dead after series of operations and test in other to save her life. Meanwhile, Mr. Macus knows nothing yet untill he was called on phone. With the hope that it was his wife but, nothing could stop the truth to be told. Immediately Mr. Macus heard about his wife death, he stumbled and fell flat with blood gushing from his head while rushed with immediate effect to the hospital by the guards. After some days, Florence got stabbed by some prisoners while fighting for survival of the fittest. With tears and regret Amaka finally came back from Ghana to Nigeria as she heard her father was back but not in a good position. She was directed to the hospital but unfortunately, the father was in coma. Immediately she heard about this; amaka turned to reality of madness as she rent off her clothes while the nurses were pulling and grabbing her sideways, holding her legs and shoulders until she was injected to sleep.
"Have you now see how the life of amaka was when she put herself into a trouble of 'am matured enough'. The old man said as he adjust his spactacules.
"But, old man how is eclipse of a virgin related to this story, because if I am to name it I would title it ' The Stupid amaka or ignorance'.
The old laugh out and adjusted his chair to balance his buttocks on the chair.
"Funny children. Don't you know the meaning of eclipse and a virgin. They're both symbolism of wold. The reason for eclipse is for every sucess in life there must be a problem in ones doing. Florence overshadow amaka with her words and silly advice. While the virgin simply means an untouched fruits. If amaka wasn't touched(deflowered) she wouldn't not have being experiencing the problems she is facing in her tender age".
"Ok, old man. So you mean Florence is the eclipse while amaka is the virgin?.
"Yes. Because Florence overshadowed the virtue of amaka by earthly pocessions of immaturity So, I advice you to stay far away from friends that could be of no help in your future".
"Hmmm! Ok, old am".the children made a chorus.
"What about Chika?". A child asked.
"Nice one, I thought you have forgotten him. As the old man was about explaining what happened to chika,parents of the children started calling them for dinner as they all went while darkness overwhelmed the cloud.
