This is my land
swollen with gold in hand
The fearless glory of blacks' toil -
A land rooted in fertile soil .
This is Africa;
The mother of a fortune seeker
The dream of heavy heads
The result of thoughtful night beds!

The conglomeration of Extraordinary blacks,
Land of invincible and Overwhelming culture and Tradition,
Blessed with the Blessed.
Land of gods that dine and wine humbly with his subjects.
gods that give a child that washes his hand a chance to commune,
Unkulunkulu,Sango,Ala,Asa,Guruhi, And others.
O Africa my Africa.

A lot flock into your territories
To experience the splendour of your valleys
And mountains
You're the rescuer
To many who even oppress you
Forgetting that,
You're the cradle of mankind

Whose prowess claimed their spoils.
African boy, a belittled ant_
Fighting like a provoked elephant.
My land is the coven that haven
The feeble forlorn, African Heaven.

Pebbles and the forsaken are gathered of scavengers_
Singing merry belly bowls are the handiwork of farmers_
Nostalgic voices from Moonlight_
Expels the clans' fright and plight.
Africa! A chosen land of God
In watch by the eyes of the gods.

ADIRE HERITAGE FESTIVAL 2017 The Adire heritage festival took place at Freedom park on Broad street, Marina, Lagos Island, formerly known as the old prison ground which is now a public place. The Festival was pioneered by Mr Komolafe Omotunde, now the "Bobato of 'Ilu Ilodo' along side with other African culture promoter to promote creativity, Africa culture and heritage, because they believed Africa is variedly rich in varieties of talented individuals in art which must be promoted. The first festival took place in Austria in which the "Kabiesi; Oba Ilu Ilodo" was present to launch it in 2013, which has been continuously repeated since then till present. The 2017 festival was a three day continuous program which started Thursday 7th to 9th of September.
